Although hard to accepted given modern advertising and expectations, waking up in the middle of the night was, at one time, viewed as normal.  It may even help you (to eventually fall back to sleep) just knowing waking in the middle of the night was a (historically) normal expectation.  Avoid, if possible, the “sleep stealers”:
